Spanning more than 430 acres to the west of Gunn Highway, magnificent Lake Keystone in Odessa, Florida, is the largest lake in the Northwest Hillsborough Basin. Known for its wide open, spring-fed boating waters, Lake Keystone is under the jurisdiction of the Tampa Port Authority and is part of a chain of lakes incorporated into the Brooker Creek watershed.

For decades, Lake Keystone’s peaceful waters and protected shores have attracted residents with a passion for boating, fresh-water fishing, water sports, hiking, picnicking, as well as enjoying nature and wildlife. Here, lakefront is not just a location … it’s a way of life. As a matter of fact, some Keystone Lake homes have been passed down for generations, making the lake itself an integral part of some residents’ family heritage.

Originally it was rimmed with orange groves but, today, Odessa’s grand Lake Keystone is the picturesque backdrop for more than 200 residences, including newer luxury estates, cozy cottages, log cabins, new family homes and seasonal getaways. Most home sites include acreage, so there’s plenty of privacy for lakefront relaxation, family fun and weekend barbecues. Not to mention, gorgeous waterfront views and private docks for your boat and jet ski!

Lake Keystone hosts all sorts of water activities and it’s the only lake in Odessa that has a community boat parade at Christmas time. Come be a part of the family on Lake Keystone!
